Can we upgrade only the kids tix at check in?

I am getting different answers from different CMs. Our friends have APs, their kids do not. They booked a visa deal package with one day tix for everyone. They are hoping to upgrade the kids tix to 8 day tix at check in and then save the adult 1 day passes for a future trip since they have APs. A CM told them that they can't upgrade just the kids since everyone on the pkg has to have the same, but another CM said it would be fine to doat guest services after they check in. Anyone have experience with this? Can they upgrade just the kids?

1) Once you check-in, you can upgrade one, several, or all tickets.
2) Just go to concierge desk and they can handle for you QUICKLY.
