Can we talk glow cubes?

I don't know why I love these things so much, but I'd love to get a thread started with glow cube drink photos. I'm looking forward to the Spiced Caramel Apple cocktail with a candy glow cube and I'm curious about the MNSSHP exclusive cube at Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Here's a photo of the Magical Beacon Cocktail from Hollywood & Vine - Empress 1908 Gin, Bols Blue Curaçao, Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade, Orgeat (Almond), Lemon, Hibiscus Grenadine and a souvenir Glow Cube. It was just a regular glow cube, though.

Where is the spiced caramel apple cocktail being offered at?
It's at several places in Hollywood Studios. ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, HBD Lounge, Oasis Canteen, PizzeRizzo, Rosie's, Sunshine Day Bar, and Tune-In Lounge. The glow cube is an orange Mickey candy design. Super cute!

I hate these things. I have a collection of a dozen or so, and it got redundant after that. I request to exclude them when I order a drink that has them.
:rotfl2:
🤷‍♀️Yeah, I don't need any more of the regular ones but I'm a sucker for the other shapes. I'm sad I missed the poison apple one from a few years ago.

I have quite a few
MSEP turtle
Thor's Hammer
Poison apple

Those are the top 3 I can name off the top of my head.

And that doesn't include the glow things that can attach to straws

I really wish Disney World had a decent cocktail program, focused on good drinks instead of gimicky ice cubes.

I kept the one I got from our last Disney trip. The one I have glows in various colors. Not sure I would ever use it again. Seem like a sanitary issue on how to clean it between uses. For a one-time novelty item, I think it is fine. Reusing them doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Reminds me of those reusable plastic ice cubes you used to be able to buy to put into drinks. Thought they stopped selling those due to the same concerns about how to adequately clean between uses.

Since they are waterproof, you can just wash them in dishwater like anything else.

yah what's the big deal reusing them? I have a few color change ones we use in pumpkins for halloween. We take em home and they never get reused again. lol

I hear ya. my wife and myself's favorite drink at Disney right now is the sake sangria at morimoto. that is a pitcher for dinner all the time for us. who am I kidding. she has 1 glass then I finish the rest of the pitcher. I think it's really good.
