Can we take Magical Express the next morning if we arrive late?

We are landing at 11pm on a Wednesday night so I went ahead and booked a room at the Hyatt inside the airport since we have two little ones and I want to get them to bed as soon as possible.

The next day we are scheduled to check into Pop Century. Can I arrange to take ME Thursday morning from MCO to Pop even though we technically arrived the night before? We are still going to be going to a Disney resort, but I wasn't sure how picky they are about when you arrive.

Yes.

And I hear that the Hyatt has a program where they can (for a fee, I believe) get your bags onto the DME system, if you don't want to handle them yourself.

Disney doesn't care if you actually flew in the day you are using ME or the day before. Your plan will work just fine.

I wondered that once myself in case the flight was delayed. It's nice to know that ME is flexible on this with all the weather delays that happen!

You can find a flight that arrives about an hour before you'd like to get on ME, and give them that information. That way they know roughly when you'll be arriving at the podium for ME check-in, and can gauge passenger volumes accordingly.

We do something similar to this quite regularly. We'll spend some time at the beach before our WDW vacation, and then return our rental car at MCO and hop onto ME for our trip to the resort.
