can we start a new "ARE THERE ANY SINGLE DISNEY MEN OUT THERE" thread?

Hey kids, I saw the word shy and thought you were talking about me. I'm a Disney loving guy in Connecticut. See you in chat.

I think some of the 20-something guys are afraid to admit their addiction and make appearances and contact us lol

Hi,

I'm a Disney-lovin' guy of fairly recent vintage, and I'll be in Dismates chat (as Tiggerpal43) tonight.

Jim

Hmmmm....maybe there are too many shy guys at dismates and I should rethink looking into it. :rotfl:

SWM 24... Living in Western Canada...I go to Disney 4 times a year usually....I have an annual pass to WDW and I had one to Disneyland.

Oh and i'm not shy one bit.....:):cool1:

I'll join in...

38 SWF living just north of Philly... Never married no kids LOVE Disney

1) Which park is your favorite? Animal KIngdom during the day, MK at night

2) Which is your least favorite park? MGM but still make sure to go atleast once during a trip not as much fun now that they closed WWTBAM

3) What is your favorite ride? POC, COP and Buzz Lightyear

4) What, if any, ride did you get off and say that was the last time I'll do that? In Dec I was on Mission Space and they had a power outage. We were stuck in the ride for about 25 minutes no way out. I swore I would never ride it again but of course I was back on it before the end of the day.

5) Where is your favorite time and place to stay? I like the spring for the flower show or last week of Oct -- MNSSHP and F&W festival

Ya know..it is possible that some of us may not be all that shy....:lmao:

I'm 31, Cleveland Ohio gal... never married, no kids, DISNEY ADDICT!!! People make fun of how obsessed I am and how I cry at certain commercials or disney promos. You did NOT want to see me last night while watching a special on the History Channel about the World..... Used to go to Disney every year growing up. Only been there 2 times in the past 10 years.... each time with an ex who did NOT appreciate disney and attempted to make my stay MISERABLE.

Hoping my prince will come, come with me to The World, and REALLY enjoy the magic with me. Starting to lose hope....

Am planning (praying I can save the $) to surprise my whole family (sis, niece, nephew, bro in law and mom) with a trip to The World in sept 08.. to be presented to them next Xmas....

This is me... don't mind me.. I was a bit happy on the wine at a wedding;)

I'll join...soon-to-be single WF, 32, in CT. I'm on dismates but the chat time just doesn't really work for me - I rarely get online from home and at 9 p.m., I'm usually getting ready for work and going to bed! And I'm really shy, too...

Anyway...

1) Which park is your favorite? Epcot and MK

2) Which is your least favorite park? Can't say, really.

3) What is your favorite ride? Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Aerosmith, Spaceship Earth

4) What, if any, ride did you get off and say that was the last time I'll do that? Mission: Space. I didn't get sick, but it messed with my head, even though I did everything they say to do.

5) Where is your favorite time and place to stay? I'll go anytime, but preferably lower-crowd times. Although I do like Halloween and I want to go around Christmas at some point. POFQ is my favourite resort.

Judy used to say that she was never successful in searching for a prince, so she decided to look for a toad and arranged for him to be converted.:stir: :rolleyes1

I tried that.. twice LOL!

I forgot to answer the questions!!

1) Which park is your favorite? MK.... Epcot a near second... the other 2 I can do without, sadly

2) Which is your least favorite park? tossup.. there are a FEW rides I like in mgm and ak... I guess I'll go with AK.... which is odd since I"m an animal lover. I did PR for a zoo for a few years, though, so seeing animals in a zoolike situation doesn't excite me very much since it used to be day in day out for me.

3) What is your favorite ride? Pirates, Haunted Mansion, spaceship earth, small world, philharmonic, soarin', I know I'll think of many more when I hit "post"

4) What, if any, ride did you get off and say that was the last time I'll do that? None... I won't even TRY mission space... I think that one would do me in!

5) Where is your favorite time and place to stay? I recently learned that september is a GREAT time to go.. .and also recently learned POFQ is an AMAZING resort. I haven't stayed onsite much to compare tho.. only other I was at was carribean beach and I hated it there.

Guess I should answer the questions....BTW..I have pics on Dismates if anyone wants to see...(just make sure you have not just ate...:lmao: )

1) Which park is your favorite? MK.... its where the magic started

2) Which is your least favorite park? AK...although I do have to say that festival of the lion king is one of my faves

3) What is your favorite ride? Pirates, Haunted Mansion...course my favorite thing is Fantasmic..how can you watch that and not be moved?

4) What, if any, ride did you get off and say that was the last time I'll do that? Mission space...course sure enough, I had to try again in Dec on my solo trip...its ok...but still made me a bit queezy...

5) Where is your favorite time and place to stay? What day is it? lol.....actually being from Michigan I prefer to go in winter time when I can get out of the cold...but my trip in DEC 2006...with all the Christmas decorations..WOW..stay..onsite of course..I prefer the value resorts...I would rather spend my money on souveniers than on renting a place to lay my head...

We tend to be very shy and need encouragement!

Shy ,you???? I never thought of you in that way for a sec Mike!!! I always thought you spoke your mind quite perfectly...:lmao:

1. Favorite park: Magic Kingdom followed by Animal Kingdom...
2. Least Favorite park: MGM but can ya really not love any of them???
3. Favorite ride: POC, Haunted Mansion TIED!!! Soarin....(I don't do coasters because of a neck injury years ago) Heck I even love the monorail!! lolol
4:What, if any, ride did you get off and say that was the last time I'll do that? Space Mountain...too much for the ole neck!
5: Favorite time and place to stay: Fort Wilderness or Animal Kingdom..I'm an old hippie and love nature!!! And Christmas before the crowds or October for Halloween and Food and Wine Fest are my fav times of year.
6: Favorite place to eat:I haven't found a place yet that I would say is a fav...nothing has stood out as the BEST since I eat all over the country as I travel for work, but did LOVE the Squash Soup at Wolfgang Pucks Express...and the Soups at Boma...Jiko would be #1 to date I guess...I want to try them all lol

TO all those who have said no to Mission space you should try the non spinning version. It does not make you sick and I found it just as innersive with out the dizzyness.
