Not sure if this is possible or not but figured this is a good place to start!

Due to dietary issues both hubby & I need to eat small amounts often. Rarely can we finish a standard "fast-food combo" and usually order one combo (burger, drink & fries) and one extra burger. Often when we do this we still can't finish everything (urgh don't get old!!)

Question is : Can we order just ONE meal and share it and use ONE credit for that. THEN pay OP for the extra drink?? I think it would be a shame to just waste so much food.

Won't be a problem at CS, we'll just treat it the same as we do at home, buy one meal and split it.

Thanks for the help!

Drop the plan and pay oop

Ahhh but you see by some strange stroke of luck i happen to be perhaps the ONLY person who actually is saving a bundle by snagging a reservation during FD. Hard to believe, but my final quote came out to 2 THOUSAND less when i called and added that to my original reservation. Just about dropped the phone and had her send me an immediate e-mail confirming said quote. Once i had it as proof i just bit the bullet and paid on the spot before Mickey got wind of the situation!!

Not trying to get the maximum value out of dining plan just don't want to see a ton of food be tossed out. It isn't a case of $$ here, just clarification as to CAN we share??

Yes, at most TS restaurants where you order from a menu you will be able to share and pay OOP for the extra beverage and anything else not covered by the dining plan.

You cannot share and everyone will be charged dining credits at buffets, family style all you care to eat venues, set price meals (CRT, Akershus), the 3 dinner shows (Hoop De Doo, Spirit of Aloha Luau, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue), event dining packages (Fantasmic and Candlelight Procession Dining Packages), and the all you care to eat platter at Whispering Canyon.

Via Napoli will not allow you to share one meal, so I if that was on your list, I'd go elsewhere or just know you'll have to waste food there.

None of these will pose a problem since we can't eat at buffets or any of the places where a "set menu" are served such as any of the dinner shows or Whispering Canyon. None of the restaurants that participate in the Fantasmic deal offer food that is on our safe list and boo-hoo, not heading south during the Christmas season.

This place is also not a problem since hubby can't have dairy and i can't have tomatoes .. sorta makes that entire menu a mine field :rolleyes1

Thanks for all the help! Most of our meals will be sit down breakies since we can both safely eat eggs, bacon, taters and the occasional pancake (heck for me tonga toast is safe :cool1: ) Our others will be at places where we can get just plain basic food. Boring but we're used to it now :thumbsup2
