can we re-use our mugs

We have bought mugs during our last 2 visits (once at POR and once at Sports). We are staying at Sports again this time. Can we reuse the mugs from last time? At our last visit, I think the rule was no. But something I read on another thread made me think that might have changed.

Oh, I definitely don't mean for it to get heated. If it is not allowed, we will buy new ones; I just thought maybe the rule had changed.

The official answer is no. Plus the resorts are now using the YOMD mugs, not the old designs.

Play it safe and just buy new ones.

This question always amazes me and seems to always come up. Think about it. People save and save to go to WDW knowing it is not a cheap vacation and then they ask can I get free drinks by using an old mug that was probably about $11. One of the cheapest things you can buy there and worth every penny.

Like I said, I didn't mean it that way. I just read something on another thread that made it sound like it had changed.

I think you may be thinking about the new mugs they are offering for people that are doing split stays at different resorts on the same trip.

Me and DH always say we should bring our mugs from the year before but then we sit down and really think about it and it just seems like stealing to us. And NOBODY steals from the Mouse!
