Is it possible to stop by and chat with the folks at Disney Weddings? We have questions, and will be at Disney World at the end of the month...

To meet with someone from DFTW you have to have an appointment and they will not make an appointment with you unless you are like 14 months away from your wedding. hth

So if we have questions about Disney Weddings in general, our only resource is the website or to order a video, and they won't talk to us unless we're there to book? Huh.

You should try calling them and see if they are willing to see you. I know that they get a lot of calls everyday and they try to screan out those who aren't really serious about a disney wedding. If you are serious about a disney wedding let them know and they may be willing to meet with you. My sales manager was really good about answering all of my 1,000,000 questions over the phone and through email when I called her so a face to face meeting is not really necessary. Good luck!

We'll have to give them a call when we get into town. I'm working on a cruise ship right up until I arrive at Disney, so calling before that isn't really to easy to do. We'll be there for almost a week, so I'm hoping they'll agree to meet with us. We're definately serious, and it's much easier, I think, to talk in person with BOTH of us there.

Hi Tabetha I know the feeling of wanting to meet and talk with someone from DFTW and not being able to. My boyfriend and I are visiting in the summer and I really wanted to meet with someone to get more info, but it is hard if you aren't even engaged but we know we want a DFTW. Anyways, these boards are awesome and all the of the past and current Disney brides are really knowledgable & a great help. They can give you a lot more information than the disney website and DVD. But it doesnt hurt to call and ask Disney, you may get lucky. Good luck with your planning

If you are signed up for (or really really planning to sign up for) an Intimate Wedding can you pop by and meet with them? Or is that only for Custom weddings?

I know that you must make an appt. to be seen, but it never hurts to try... I know that the doors are always locked and I never see ppl in there for some reason lol

From what I understand, their main offices are in Celebration, and they only come out to the wedding pavilion if they have an appointment or something.

I also know the frustration of not getting to see them when you want. We went down last December and really wanted to see them then, but they said it was too far in advance. So, we went back in June. Oh darn... Another trip to Disney....
