Can we pool hop?

We're staying at FW this summer using our points for the campground. Can we hop over to the BW pool? How about TOTWL can we still visit there? Thanks

As a DVC member staying on points you are entitled to the perks including pool hoping and access to TOTWL. Carry your member card and MB as proof of eligibility.

Yes, in an effort to keep the lounge open for business, DVC changed the policy to allow all members staying at WDW access. Specifics are available on the member website.

While true that the rules have been relaxed on DVC Member access to TOWL, it is sometimes still restricted at holiday peak times like it was in the beginning. I have, in slower season, heard at BLT FD CM say that access was allowed to any DVC member staying on WDW property on cash or points. It always just pays to check before your vacation dates start. here what the dvc member site says

When staying on your Membership at any Disney Vacation Club Resort at Walt Disney World Resort, or Disney's Vero Beach Resort,you and any Guests staying with you are permitted to use most of the other Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools (in addition to the pool at the resort hotel at which you are staying) if they are not at capacity.

I would send someone over to BWI/BWV and ask if you can use the pool. My guess is that they won't have an issue with you using it.

Whoops, I read that "at" as an "or." I guess you're right; no pool hopping.

The info on the members website lists July 3 and 4, and Dec 30 and 31 as restricted dates. You must be staying at BLT to visit TOWL on those dates.

BWV is my home. I've never been asked to prove I'm staying there ... I think you might be fine if it's not too crazy crowded. We go between November and January.

Funny, your son lives the crazy clown pool. Many ppl post that they hate it. We are in the "it matters not" bc we just love the location!

We're hoping to pool hop at Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk Inn, and I'm wondering if we'll be able to use the showers at the fitness centers there, since we plan to hit the parks afterward. Or are there showers in the bathrooms at the pools?

What keeps anyone from pool hopping? I just bought last week so I have never seen the DVC pool areas. Are they gated? What keeps anyone, no matter DVC or paying cash, from pool hopping from any resort.
