Can we have both?

if we get the dining plan for 2 adults and 1 child

can we do the following

use child table credit for a buffet breakfast
use cash for adults at same breakfast

use adult table credit for dinner ex. rose and crown
child share our meal at same dinner

is this possible?

our daughter doesn't eat much at all and we're just trying to figure out if this is a good deal - if we have to pay for her breakfast then use the credit at dinner it's not a good deal because she wouldn't eat that much.

I think the breakfast would be okay, but the dinner would not be.

You can pay OOP for anyone at your table, whether they are on the DDP or not. So, for breakfast, enjoy! (Reminder: you are not supposed to use a DDP credit for anyone not on the DDP, though, so the corollary to the above is not true.)

For dinner, sharing a meal with someone not using the plan is not allowed. So, having your daughter eat off your plate would be problematic. They would want you to pay OOP for her or use her credit. Disney has become much stricter with enforcing their rules.

Last month while on the DDP my dd11 and I split several adult entrees using one credit and never had a problem.
