Can we get two beds in a studio?

Thank you everyone for your insights into this matter.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can convince my sister in law that her teenagers will be fine on the pull-out. No further comment from me on this(trying to be very PC here...)

I guess I need to get a three bedroom. We have to stay at the BCV, BWV or WLV due to requests, so if anyone has points to for that on Aug 13-17 please check out my request on the rental board.

Those dates are only 68 days away! I can almost guarantee there are NOT any 3 bedroom GVs left anywhere, so my advice would be to rent a 2 bedroom and a studio. Put one teen and the SIL in the studio and the other teen and Dad in the 2nd bedroom of your 2 bedroom. Either that or everyone get their own reservations.

That's a good idea. We can split up without a problem.

Actually, I'm going to go ahead and get three studios if possible and just tell her there was a booking mistake...

Why have one person make life a headache for everyone else... we never see her much anyway.

VWL and BCV don't have GVs. Only SSR, OKW and BWV (and there are only 7 at BWV).

And Diane is correct. You may have a tough time getting anything this late.

sounds to picky for me.. when i take my mom dad and sis they better be happy with what i give them (it will probley be 2 studios side by side if can..but my mom better not be picky (we went to disney world last year and she just about runed it. lately shes been off and on nuts, and when she came home drunk the day befor we had to drive to wdw, it was bad..but shes doing much better and she will be happy if i can take her to disney lol

Tho i usely would be trying to make every one happy. I think 3 studios should work for them. good luck on your trip

It wont likely be 2 studios side by side, since that doesn't exist many places in any DVC resort.

IMO, just stick with the multiple studios. More space, more bathrooms & every one's in a bed.

That's what we're doing in Nov. We never use the kitchen & 2 studios is less points than a one bedroom, so it really makes no sense for us to get a one bedroom anymore.

There are no roll-aways available at DVC resorts. Besides, isn't that just as bad as a pull-out????

Well I was thinking that maybe the boys didn't want to SHARE the sofabed and maybe sleeping separately would be better. We will have the same issue when we go to AK Villas in November. My 13 year old boy and almost 11 year old daughter won't be very happy about sharing the sofa. I was hoping for maybe a rollaway bed. Oh well, they must "suffer"!

The AKV have both a convertible sofa & chair in the one bedroom villas, if that helps. I don't know if you are staying in a one bedroom, but if you are, you don't have to worry.

Once the new Kidani village rooms are ready in 2009"?", there will be single bed sleeper chairs as well as the sleeper sofa in the living room of the 1 and 2 bedroom villas there. That will not be the case at Jambo house though, as far as I know.

you can bring or buy an air mattress (walmart) or sleeping bag and one sleep on the floor.

We did this, too, when our kids were younger. It worked great for us! (I got a vacation from loud snoring! LOL The trade-off was that DD thrashes about during the night.) It makes me smile to think of those times.
