Can we get to our Chef Mickey breakfast in time?

We scheduled a breakfast at Chef Mickey's for 7:15 on a Friday. Epcot is early opening and Magic Kingdom opens at 9. We're staying at Pop Century-can we get there on time using the Disney buses? I know there's a special bus for Character Meals but is that too early?
Someone else in our party scheduled a breakfast for 4 at 10am. Can we show up with a party of 6 without too much of a hassle?

Hi,

Buses for character breakfasts at the MK start running at 6:30, so you should have no problem.

As for showing up with 6 and having an ADR for 4, you may or may not run into trouble. Chef Mickey's is always crowded so you may have a longer wait for a table for 6.

Don't go expecting the bus to drop you off at the Contemporary because that does not happen everyday and it's not an official policy that the bus drivers must do. So at worst you would be dropped off at the Magic Kingdom and from there use the walkway to the Contemporary which takes about 8-10 minutes.

Just a bit more expensive (maybe about $20) - but you could call the front desk ans ask them to request a taxi for you in the AM - about 6:30 AM.

Take the taxi in the AM to the CR for your 7:15 AM Chef Mickeys great fun breakfast. You will be more relaxed and will be on time for your ADR with no worries.

We have done taxi's for early AM breakfasts at resorts and it saves time and no worries.

I agree, if you want to change your time you should change your reservations. They won't always allow the extra people at check-in. We also always take a taxi to early breakfasts, the bus is just to unpredictable. The resort can tell you exactly how much it would be to get to the contemporary.
