Can we do morning EMH before checking in?

Can we do morning EMH on our first day if we haven’t checked into our hotel yet? We’ll have our reservation confirmation letter to prove that we’ll be staying on-site. I assume we’ll have to pay for parking, and I’m okay with that, but will we have any problems trying to get into the parking lot without the resort parking thingie in our windshield or any problems getting into the park without a room key?

They won't allow you in until you've checked in. Your resort confirmation won't have your tickets listed on it. Why not just check in early?

Your reservation letter doesn't prove that you'll be staying on property, it just proves you made a reservation. You'll need your room IDs for EMH.

You will need your room keys to do EMH. You can check in early and get them, the hotel will store your luggae, if you have time.

Hmm, so I guess we'd have to wake up much earlier than I'd hoped. For an 8 am EMH at AK, I suppose we'd need to check in at VWL around 6:45. Does that sound right?

You will NEED to ride the BUS to DAK (even if you have a car) for EMH.
DAK's parking lot is notorious for not always being open for AM EMH.

And I'd want to be amoung the first outside the gates before EMH opening time.
So, I'd shoot for 6:30am for check-in, just in case of any delays.

Your resort key-cards are yours to keep, even after checkout, and you are allowed to use them at EMH the evening of the day you check out.
