We will be in HS on Easter Sunday. Right now we are scheduled for dinner at Hollywood and Vine for the Fantasmic dining package with the 8:30 show. I just saw that the fireworks are scheduled at 9:15 (not the 9:30 as I had hoped for). I really want my dad to be able to hear/see fireworks....will we make it or should we skip fantasmic show?? There are no other dining reservations for that night that would work!?!?

I have the same situation (minus the dining package). Seems like a tight timeline, but I'm hoping someone with recent experience can chime in.

The 15 minutes from the end of Fantasmic until fireworks start does give you enough time to get to Hollywood Blvd. That was the scheduling during SWWs.

If you exit across the front of the amphitheater to the far right (south) stairs up to that exit, you'll unload either at BatB or near stroller rental at the front of the park. That will be faster than leaving through the main exit.

We went from Fantasmic! to the Star Wars fireworks in June, with plenty of time to spare.

We had a less positive experience last summer with Fantasmic and the Frozen fireworks. After Fantasmic ended we followed the crowd out the stadium. There were CMs waving lighted batons to guide us out. There were ropes behind which guests were awaiting the Fireworks. As we turned the corner where the times board is, the fireworks started. The CMs screamed at the guests to keep walking and not to stop to watch the fireworks. "Don't you dare turn around. Keep walking." It was decidedly un-magical. We were ushered right out of the park and watched the remainder of the fireworks from just outside the turnstiles. It was a disappointment to us as we were hoping to catch both the same night.

We were there last Tuesday and did the exact thing.....though the fireworks were an hour not 45 minutes later. Still, you will have enough time to make it. We absolutely loved them! :thumbsup2

I'm glad someone else asked this! I'm in a similar situation mid-April: 8:30 F! show with a 9:15 SW fireworks. I'd love to fit them both in, so it's good to hear (mostly) positive feedback

We prefer to watch the fireworks first then go to Fantasmic. On Easter, Fantasmic will be performed at 8:30 and 10 and you would have plenty of time to make it to the 2nd show. There's no reserved seating for Dining Plan participants at the late show, but it will be much less crowded. Leaving the park will also be quicker and easier as most guest head out after the fireworks.

If you want one more tip, you'll find the shortest lines of the day at the major attraction while the early Fantasmic is underway, just in case you have kids that want to hit the headliners a few more times.

Can you explain this exit? I honestly have never heard of any other way to exit the show except for the main entrance/exit. I too would like to see the fireworks after Fantasmic in April and would love to figure out a quick exit strategy!

When facing the stage, turn and walk to the far right. We usually wait a couple of minutes and walk across the very front near the moat to the last stairway. At the top of the stairway, you'll head straight to that exit. It will unload near the side of BatB or the front of the park.

Where were you able to get to to watch the fireworks? I feel like once you leave there you end up in a jam on Sunset Boulevard.
