Can we borrow points to make a RCI trade?

We have a Dec UY and borrowed our 2015 points. Can we borrow our Dec 2016 points for a trade outside Disney(RCI)? We are deciding between Caribbean islands for Feb-March 2016 .We will go to the Caribbean regardless but just want to know our options. TY

You can borrow if needed and they won't take the points until you have a match. I just looked on RCI and if I exclude All Inclusive's, specify silver or gold crown and look only for Feb/March there are only a handful of options and if you further exclude AI resorts that are optional AI, there are even less. I don't like your chances for this Feb/March. Realize this is the high demand time for the area, think DVC at Easter but even more in demand. IMO there are almost no AI options that are reasonable to exchange to and only maybe 1 I know of that is semi reasonable to exchange DVC for. Be aware that AI fees are very high, I've seen as high as over $4K for 2 people. Many of them also require you to pay for a minimum number, for a 2 BR that might be 4 or 6.
