Can Waterpark Option Be Added To Base Tickets?

We will be visiting in August and will most likely want to visit a waterpark for the first time, but I am not 100% sure (we'll also be staying at AKL for the first time so I am not sure if the kids will be happy enough with the pools there). Can I purchase just base tickets and add the waterpark option at the gate on the day of?

Yep, you can do that.

If you want to do one day at a water park after you get there, it is usually better to buy a one day water park ticket separate from your park tickets. A one day ticket costs $53 + tax. Adding a Water Park and More option costs $60 + tax. There are benefits to the WP&M option that can make it worthwhile.

You have a visit for each major park day ticket (2 visits for a one day ticket) for:

Typhoon Lagoon
Disney Quest
ESPN Complex
The Oak Trail Golf Course
The two Mini Golf Courses
