I want to rent a double from WDW and have a cheep lightweight umbrella for the 2year old for arrival and departure and resort. Do you think it would be possible to bungie cord one to a WDW double? Is this a goofy idea?

You could probably close up the umbrella stroller and attach it somehow, but I don't know for sure. Open it would take up too much room and you'd never be able to maneuver.

What kind of handles do they have? I saw someone at a theme park this weekend who had their umbrella (curved handles) folded and hung on the handlebar of their larger stroller (with infant seat on it). It thought it was as a decent idea for doing a park with an infant and say 3-4 year old who may need the stroller later in the day but not all the time.

Why don't you just rent a stroller from a company like Orlando Stroller Rentals and then you would have it for the time you are at the hotel and/or out of the parks. That seems like a more affordable and easier option to me, your plan seems difficult and double strollers are already too wide and hard to maneuver. The only time you wouldn't have one would be at the airport.

Very goofy - mainly because they would be different sizes, so would not have the same turning axis. Also, kids like to play with cords, and a bungie cord could come loose and rip a good chunk off of someone.
