Can two small kids fit into one bed? Girl sleeping drama!

I just had to tell you that last night when I went to check on my girls before bed I stopped in the 1st room no kid 2nd room no kid 3rd Girls room and what do i behold but my 9, 6, and 4 year old all curled up in one twin size bed. They did'nt seem to have a problem at all. We are travelling with their 2 cousins in connecting cat 4's in May and I am sure it will be musical beds. :cool1:

How sweet, I love it when I catch my girls being so sisterly, it really tears me up and makes me so proud.

There is another possibility that I can think of.

What about putting the littlest one on the floor with blankets under her to make it more comfy.

Then you could put 2 in the bottom sofa bed, one in the top bunk and the other on the floor. Little ones usually don't care where they sleep.

I don't know if you could move the coffee table far enough out of the way to do this. Our cabin last week on the Magic didn't even have a coffee table in it and it sure made the cabin seem so much more spacious and we didn't really need the table anyway.

Thanks everyone! I knew someone would be able to share their experience with small children being in a twin bed together! Cruisin' Kroezes, that might not be a bad idea. I'm not sure how her parents will like it, but it is an alternative if they all must absolutely sleep in the same cabin. Girl drama is sooo...... dramatic. They get so upset over stuff (and stay upset). If a couple of girls are together, the others will feel left out and I'm trying to avoid that drama on my vacation :D

thats a great idea!!!! I hope our cabin doesn't have a coffee table. cruisin what cabin were you in?? princess we will have the same drama so don't feel alone. two 5year old two 9year olds and the 7 year old who always feels left out. And of course she's not the one you want mad lol. :earseek:
I guess we should be happy that they get along and want to be together right?
Maybe they will be so tired from a full day on the ship that they won't care where they sleep. I know I won't :cool1:

You've recieved alot of responces to your question....but I just wanted to and my 2-cents worth. I remember sleeping that way many times as a child...of course not in a stateroom bunk..but in a twin bed..stuffed between two or three other friends. I think it would work best for one at the top and one at the bottom...like you had described. As for the top bunk...depending on how much the child rolls around...or if she gets up durring the night at all. (our 6yo will get up durring the night and find her way into our room _half the time I don't think she is really awake-...So I just wouldn't want her on the top...just in case she decided she needed to get up) But with additional rail from the stateroom host..it may just work. Another thought would be to put the adults in the bunks (sofa bed & berth from celing) and put the four girls in the full size bed (two at the top and two at the bottom).

Good luck. I'm sure you'll figure something out. :flower1:

We were in cabin 6083 on the Magic.

If you wanted you could probably ask the room steward to take your coffee table out of the cabin. They might be willing to do that for you.
