We have a short trip booked the last weekend in January, but the rumored offer has me interested in March to go during the kids' spring break (even though it would be more crowded). We would drive down, but DH will most likely not be able to take a full week of vacation and could fly back midweek. I'll be 28 weeks pregnant with a 3-year old and 4-year old, and can't fathom staying by myself for three days, BUT my sister might fly down to help me - especially if we're paying for the room and tickets and meals.

Could my DH be the 2nd adult in our room the first half of the trip and my sister be the 2nd adult in our room the 2nd half of the trip? So there would only be two adults in the room at any time? Or would I be forced to make two different reservations?

This would be fine and could just be one reservation, except if it's a package deal, meaning tickets included. They could not share one ticket, because of the finger scanners at the park entrance.

Very interesting...I have 4 nights booked with my son in Jan. and three nights booked with my DD in Mar. I was thinking of adding 4 nights onto the beginning of Mar. res. and DH and I could celebrate our 25th ann. at Disney. We'll see what happens!

Since we're assuming the deal coming out today is a package, could she purchase her own tickets, but use his dining package meals?

No. If theyre both on the res they both have to pay for dining and the same number of tickets

to the OP... you could easily do what you are suggesting, w/the only caveat being that dh/sis would need separate tickets... whoever is arriving w/you would be the name on the reservation... sis could use dh's meal credits w/out a problem as long as you always present your card (although i've used dh's card and no one questioned the man's name)...

it might behoove you to get dh a non-expiry ticket w/extra days on your january trip and have sis' ticket be the one packaged w/the march trip... or it may even pay to do room-only in march and do non-expiry for all of you in january (you'd have to run the numbers) and use those tix in march (again, w/the addition of buying sis' ticket), and go oop for meals...
