Can Toy Story Mania fit 3 in a row?

DH and I are taking our 5, 3, and 2 year old children to WDW in May. Can we insert the 2 year old between an adult and the 5 year old? I'm sure DH would share his controller with the 2 year old. ;)

We did this last year and once this year as well. I honestly don't remember if we sat 3 in a row or if DS son sat in DH's lap, but as long as someone doesn't mind sharing, it's definitely doable!

I thought that two lap bars meant they would only allow 2. The 3rd person is just in between. I guess it's still safe.

Yes, this won't be a problem at all. DH and I did this with DD when she was two. I think she actually may have sat on my lap. The 2 year old won't have their own controller, but DD didn't care when she was that age. We just sort of shared.

It would be a tight and uncomfortable fit IMO. It's hard to get 2 adults and 2 little children (sitting on your lap and/or standing in front of you) in the car but to add a 2 year old in the middle would be tough.

What do they do for a family of 3 if you don't all sit together? Does one ride alone or with a stranger?

Folks behind me in line did it last week. The CM told them that the toddler would need to sit on a lap.

We are a family of 3 and either my husband or I will ride alone. We have never had to ride with someone out of our party. Toy Story Mania doesn't have a single rider line so perhaps that only happens if there is another odd number party is in line right next to you.

I think they meant 3 on one side, 2 on the other side of the car, not all 5 on one side.

My husband and I sat with our 23 month old son in between us. It was fine.

We had me, a ds7, and ds2 on my lap on it just fine. This trip they'll be 9 and 4 so I'm not sure how we'll sit. Dh may be on his own a few times.
