Can ticket specials be applied to an existing package?

We have an existing Disneyland package reservation that has not been paid in full yet. The newly announced 70th anniversary ticket special that goes on sale tomorrow covers our dates and I estimate would save us each $55. Anyone know if we will be able to call and get a discount on the package or is it only for new ticket sales? I don’t see anything in the fine print excluding pre booked packages except that they say “nonrefundable”.

I just called Costco travel where I booked my package in January for this July. The rep I spoke to was able to change my 3-day one park tickets to the Anniversary tickets where I saved $160.00 off my package (3 adult tickets).

The rep did mention that the only ones that probably cannot be changed are the Disney Visa packages, those are a bit more tricky but other packages can be retroactively changed.

I just called Costco travel where I booked my package in January for this July. The rep I spoke to was able to change my 3-day one park tickets to the Anniversary tickets where I saved $160.00 off my package (3 adult tickets).

The rep did mention that the only ones that probably cannot be changed are the Disney Visa packages, those are a bit more tricky but other packages can be retroactively changed.
