I just booked a last minute trip for next week 2/19/26 and on our going home day I wanted to go to character dining. It’ll just be me and my 2 year old. I was able to get Ohana at 12:05pm and Topolinos at 10:05am. I really wanted the Ohana because my toddler likes the food there and gets a lot of it, whereas Topolinos she basically won’t be eating anything. The earlier time is usually when we do meals before driving back home so I was conflicted on which one to do. She loves the characters at both. Would it be possible time wise to do both? I’ll have a car.

I don't see why not time wise. To hedge bets I'd check in a topolinos asap, usually about 20 mins early online check in starts and with a 15 min grace period for being late to Ohana it will give you breathing room.

Time-wise, yes. But do you really want to sit for a 2nd meal with a toddler when you've just eaten? Maybe it's just my luck, but it seems the characters don't get to our table until well into the meal so that's a lot of sitting and keeping a kid occupied (twice). Personally I'd choose the meal location where the child will eat better. Expecting a 2-yr-old to sit still for ~2 out of 3 hours seems like a lot.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the earlier restaurant will be the best option in your situation. You’ll be drained of energy after eating a LOT of food from both places since you’re driving back home without a flight. You may wish to pack something your younger guest loves to eat if nothing on the kids menu appeals to her (yes they have Mickey waffles at Topolino).

I would consider signing up for a dining alert program to try to snag an earlier 'Ohana time. The chances of getting one as you get closer to your trip are very good - people drop reservations all the time. I wouldn't do both - that's a lot of sitting and a lot of wasted money on food you won't eat.

Probably? But it depends.
If you are seated promptly and the characters come around quickly, then yes.

But if you’re seated 15-30 minutes past your ADR time and it takes an hour to see all the characters, then, maybe not. Factor in the drive, parking, getting to Ohana, etc….and you could be pushing it.

I wouldn’t want to do both. That seems like too much. Ohana breakfast is my kids’ favorite character meal, too. I agree with trying to find an earlier time there. We’ve not done Topolinos, so I don’t know what’s on the menu. But I don’t see a point in doing a meal where your kid won’t eat right before getting in the car to go home. I have a picky eater, so we sometimes do restaurants that aren’t his favorite, but I’d want everyone full before hitting the road.
