Can this be done??

I am currently awaiting closing on a resale that has 70 points that need to be used by 4-1-07 (banked from 05). Also all 06 points have been banked into 07. My question is, and I think I know the answer, can I make a ressie for lets say January (if available of course) that requires more than 70 points and borrow the balance from my 07 alotment (not the 06 banked points but the new 07 points)? I think I can but being new I wanted to check with the experts.

What is your Use Year? I'm guessing it's April. (Points have to be used by the last day of the month before your Use Year starts -- it would be March 31, 2006 that would be the last date to use the banked points.)

April 2005 points banked in to 2006 - Good for stays April 1, 2006-March 31, 2007

April 2006 points banked into 2007 -- Good for stays April 1, 2007-March 31, 2008

April 2007 points -- good for stays April 1, 2007-March 31, 2008 YES - you could borrow from these for stays April 1, 2006-March 31, 2007

A reminder that once points are banked or borrowed, they can't be moved again.
