I only have enough points for a one bedroom at OKW for our upcoming trip. My mother-in-law wants to be near EPCOT, so she would rather we stay at the Beach Club or Boardwalk. IF, there was a one bedroom that was available to book at either of these two properties could my mother-in-law buy the extra points we would need. She is more than willing to foot the bill. Also how would we go about buying the points. Thanks.

There may be rooms available to pay cash for some nights and use points for the others, I think that's what you're asking.

Your options are to find a member willing/able to transfer the needed points into your account so you can make the reservations yourself ... or ... to find a member willing/able to rent the entire reservation in your name.

If you are now outside of 7 months, you will need to find an owner at BWV or BCV. If already within 7 months, you can reserve as many days as are available using your points and find another member to reserve the other days for you.

Another option would be to call CRO and reserve the entire stay directly thru Disney.

Another consideration would be to keep your reservation at OKW and enjoy the 10 minute ride to Epcot using Disney transportation.

To be clear, you cannot simply rent the extra needed points from Disney like you might FF miles with an air line.
