can they play hockey?

I see on the Navigators there is an NHL challenge game. Can my boys (DH & DS10) bring their hockey sticks and some tennis balls and "play" hockey on the sports deck?

Other than the basketball court, there really isn't anywhere to play. The court is big enough that if it weren't crowded they could probabably play a little (assuming no cast member tells you otherwise). But, if there were any crowd, I would think they would be out of space.

Maybe others have different input??

This is supposed to be my HOCKEY-FREE vacation!! If my kids/husband find out, I'll never see them!!


If they still offer this, where is it located? I need to keep my family FAR away....

Printed out the navigator for my DS10 and that's the first thing he saw!!!!! can't remember what day. The club does the challenge with the kids and it's on the adult navigator also so am assuming they do it twice?

Is there any such thing as a non hockey day? DS plays ice hockey Oct-April, roller hockey AND ice hockey again April-August. My DD's 5&4 start in the fall.

two4ruff: when are you sailing? any boys age 10? kinda nervous he won't meet anyone as he's pretty quiet. yea, I know, he plays hockey but it's NON contact, he's not in the least bit aggressive, not very good(sounds bad doesn't it?) but he loves it anyway!!!!! go figure.

We sail on the April 6th Magic. Your description of your son sounds just like mine! He is also 10! I have a 7 year old too, he is a little more outgoing...

I did tell my boys we will NOT be bringing our own sticks!!

We're not sailing until Oct. 19 (Magic) -- I'm just obsessed when it comes to vacation planning (DH's words). Let me know if you do the NHL challenge....

We're on the 4/14 Wonder and the NHL Challenge is the first thing my DS-10 wants to do also!!!

He plays roller hockey Nov-Feb and again March - May. (Not many ice rinks in the south.)

I was just checking my Navigotors from our cruise in Oct. of last year, no hockey activities posted. Maybe it's just seasonal.
