can teenagers go on DME by themselves

DS has decided he now wants to join our trip. He is bringing a friend. THey are both 16 but will be on a different flight than DH & I

Is there any problem with this?

Also, do I need a letter from friends parents stating that he has permission to be with us

Magical Express won't be a problem. I would have the parents sign something that gives your permission to authorize medical treatment in an emergency, and make sure he brings his insurance cards with him/her
