Planning a fall trip to Orlando, and was thinking about a day at Sea World. Can we do SW in a day & feel like we saw it all? And I'm talking about a relaxed day, not a run from attraction to attraction with 3.6 minutes to spend at each! LOL

Just wondering if I should spend the extra money to check it out, or if we will be better off spending the day another way.

Thanks!! :)

I think it can if you arrive first thing in the morning and tour with a plan. It depends a bit on how much time you spend at the animal exhibits. We wasted a ton of time criss crossing the park and dealing with the all day dining, so we ended up missing Blue horizons (a must see) because of that. If I had followed the initial plan and not done all day dining which meant we had to walk bakc to the waterfront everytime we wanted a drink, we would have done just fine.

Usually, you get a second day free with a paid admission day to SW - we didn't take advantage of the extra time we could have gone because we wanted to do more Disney. If you get there at opening and ride the rides and feed the dolphins first then then tour around the part along with the time of the shows, it can be done pretty sanely.

thanks for the reply! Sounds like we can make a nice day of it :)
There are a few things I don't want to miss, so as long as we see those I will be happy.
Now I have to go re-arrange my schedule!

I was wondering the same thimg. We are thinking about taking a day out of our Disney trip and going to seaworld. I don't want to feel rushed but I do want to see as much as possible. I would love to hear from more people on this! :goodvibes

I have the same question.. We are heading down to SW in June and we are wondering if we will regret only planning one day there.. We can plan another day if necessary. I would hate to rush and not be able to walk around and just take it all in, since it seems like a huge park area-wise from what I read....:)

In June you will have from 9AM-10 PM so you will be able to do a lot. See everything-probably not- but you will be able to do almost everything without rushing.

To the OP who had trouble doing things because they kept going back to the waterfront to get drinks, we never really had the problem. There is a place across the bridge near Shamu and Wild Artic( Mango Joes). There is a place on the way to the stables and A'Lure on the back path from Shamu Stadium to that side of the park( The Terrace). There are the 2 places on the Waterfront( Voyagers and Sea Fire Inn). And Spice Mill is right by Shark Encounter and Alure, too. Seaport Pizza is over on the other side of the park by Manta. We would bop in and then carry the drinks with us wherever we were headed.
