WHY is 4/18 a blackout date on the SoCal select AP?? I made the mistake of not double checking figuring, "hey its a friday in the middle of april...why would it be blacked out....Passover??"
So it looks like we're going to have to upgrade for $80

Is there a cheaper way for us to get in tomorrow? (first time having any type of AP so not sure if you get some kind of deal or something on blackout days)

So upset at myself for not looking....

Yes, they sell blackout tickets for $40.

The Food and Wine Festival is going on at CA on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays this month. Maybe that is why?

All Fridays are blocked out from April through August. The next non-blocked Friday is August 29th.

yep, fridays are blocked out all summer for socal passes. If you plan on going again, itll be best to upgrade!

Actually only SoCal Select passes have fridays blocked.

yeah, only Select are blocked Fridays. I have the normal SoCal and I'm only blocked Saturdays and holidays. (and I wouldn't dreams of going then anyway!)

Sorry that you'll have to fork over more money. But try to enjoy yourself still!! You're at Disneyland!

And FYI, the Food and Wine Festival is going on from now until May 5th. Everyday. Of course, the main events are F,S, and Sunday.

We have the Deluxe AP and we're blocked out on Sat. Which is why we were there on Sunday (not for F&W) It was crowded, it was hot (I heard it reached 102!) but we got there early, got FP, and still had a great time. Griizzly Rapids was the place to be at 3 p.m.!
