Can someone tell me what you guys are paying for your gasoline please........

One of our morning news shows on tv has a poll going on the price of our petrol compared to the price of your gasoline over there.

Someone e-mailed in this morning & said that somewhere in the US it was $2 a gallon.

Is this correct???

I'd really appreciate any prices anyone is willing to give me.........

Our petrol here in Brisbane is anything from 87 -98 cents a litre. A gallon is apparantly equivalent to 4 1/2 litres.

Local news said that gasoline in San Francisco is at $2 and above. My near-by "cheapie" station just went to $1.86 for regular. Most of the gas here in suburbia is close to $2 per gallon!

Right now I'm paying $1.76/gal for the lowest octane (87) mid-grade (89) is $1.83/gal and premium (91) is $1.95/gal

On Sunday I got gas at Sam's for $1.46. It was $1.51 for the general public, but since we're Sam's members we got a 5 cent discount so it was $1.46
