Can someone tell me what the AP rates for the DLH are...

Sept 24: $139
Sept 25: $243
Sept 26: $243
Sept 27: $149
Sept 28: $149

I just booked AP rate Sept. 24-28 (4 nights) standard view at DLH and the grand total was $674 (not including resort fee of $12 a day I think).

Where did you get this? I have never been able to log in with my AP info and I would rather not call and be on hold long distance for 30ish minutes. We are going 11/29-12/4.

I got it through the hotel availablity calendar on the AP site.

Those are the rates for a standard room, for a room with a view they are
$159
$179
$169
$169
$169
It appears that there is no concierge availability at all for September, the whole month is missing from my calender.

Does that include the 15% taxes? That's just $2 off adding up pixie's low rates, but you have to remember the taxes. (and the resort fee plus tax on that)

We are going 11/29-12/4.

Last I checked they didn't have anything beyond October, and even if they did it would only be the typical 10% off rack rate. They haven't decided (or haven't posted) if they're extending the terrific special AP rates yet...

Wow....so the view rooms are less expensive than the standard rooms on the 25th and 26th. :)

It's cracking me up that a View room is cheaper right now than a Standard room. :) Well, at least on the calendar (which was wrong for me last month, didn't match up with reality).

OK, going through the booking process, for 24-28 (check out the 28th), I get a subtotal of only 586 standard room. $666 pool view. Pool view turns into 765.90 with tax, standard turns into...673.90.

So that's the same that gatorfreud just booked!

Strange how different the calendar is from reality...it's really too bad they can't seem to get their sites working well. To have questionable info on a site is worse than having NO info, IMO.

I guess it's because all the standard rooms got snatched up at the super low AP rates. And yes, like Bumber said, those rates are without taxes and without the extra resort fee so don't forget those. :)

I liked those view rates tho....those are good rates!

And yes, like Bumber said, those rates are without taxes ...

But did you see what happened as I went through the booking process? In this particular case, it was far LESS than just the numbers on the availability page.

Guess they had to make up for the end of June, when it showed, for almost a week, that there was a VERY low rate for certain nights at GCH, but the reality was that there were only one bedroom suites at over 1K available.

I have been told that the calendar is updated once a day, but it still never seems right. When I booked PPH, the calendar said that two of the dates I wanted was over $100 above the lower price that I was looking at. But when I called, all my dates were available at the lower rate. It really pays to call and ask. I know that sometimes it is a pain to stay on the phone, but the calendar doesn't seem accurate very often. I check the rates every day or so, and the prices keep changing, but not very logically. For example, say the 16th is $179 today, tomorrow the 16th is listed at $288, and the next day it is back to $179. That doesn't make sense to me. Are there that many people changing their ressies to make those changes logical?

Although our AP is expired, I was able to log into the AP site.

Now the view rates are:

$159
$169
$275!
$169
$169

So strange!

Lynzer,
Call and ask! You might be able to get that rate cheaper.

I will- when I went through the booking process, I got the same #'s as Bumbershoot. When you add up the nightly rates, the view is clearly cheaper but it's coming up as more.:confused3

Lynzer, as you actually go through, is that high rate showing up? IF not, ignore it, just go on through.

Remember, when I went through I pretended I was checking OUT ont he 28th, so if you're checking out on the 29th it'll be higher.

That's so weird, I didn't try to book it I just checked the numbers. And like I said, concierge level the whole MONTH was missing.....methinks they are having problems with their websites....Lynzer I hope you can get the better rate by calling them! That's just weird that booking it makes the prices go up...... ????

We will probably buy AP's next year - I thought I would buy online and then you activate on your first park visit - right? From this it seems like you can only view the AP site if you hold a valid AP so I wondered how I would access hotel rates without the AP being activated - do you get a reference number when you buy online to access? Can you turn up at the hotel and then activate your AP later - say next day?
