You need the basket type for 10-12 cup coffeemakers. The Mr. Coffee brand work fine. You could also get the coffee/filter combination. Maxwell (and probably others) sells those.

I purchase the el cheapo ones from WalMart, they are round and are like the Mr. Coffee ones, but, you get a kajillion for .99.

The Maxwell House filter packs are a nice treat to us while on vacation. Just throw them in. They make a good cup of coffee.
