Can someone tell me about TREX?

Hello we are taking DS to Trex and I was curious what they do/have fun for the kids?

Do they get dinosaurs? TIA

Awesome restaurant for the kids if you plan on brining them there had a blast with my wife and 12 year old son at the time went there in Oct of 2009 and might go back this year

There are 4 rooms at T-Rex. 2 rooms are dinosaur rooms, an ice room and an undersea room. The rooms can be loud, every 15 or so minutes the dinosaurs come to life, a metor shower starts and lots of flashing lights. The ice room turns red.

There is also a shop beside the restaurant that sell T-Rex merchandise, plus a "Build a Dinosaur Area" similar to "Build a Bear.

The food is good.

We visited in September for the first time and have a reservation to return in May. Our Grandchildren loved it.

This is a must do for our family every year. Although the excitement around the first 2 years is no longer around for the adults, the children love it. We had great service and the restaurant was not that busy, except for last year. I blame it on going on a Friday night and we just spent 6 hours on a plane flight. The restaurant was extremely busy and we were at a table that was next to a dinasuar. Every 3-4 minutes, people were taking pictures next to us. Drove us crazy, but I had to think about the excitement of the place as well as what the children were thinking. The food is O.k. but the restaurant decor is amazing! I would go again!

We were pleasantly surprised with TRex. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was excellent. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

The kids totally loved it and are asking to go back on our next trip.

One tip: if you have ADR do not wait in that crazy long line to check in, just go straight to the desk.

Me and hubby went last yr, we went for a late night snack, so we got a martini, and shared an appetizer.. it was 53.00
So, the prices there are a bit hefty! The scenery is really neat, especially the ice room! If ya have little kids, the dinos tend to freak out every 15-20 minutes! They have a build a dino that rocks! They have a dino dig , the kids can dig for bones, which is fun.
