Can someone talk to me about meeting characters at DL?

Thank you all so much. I really appreciate it. One of my traditions after a 1/2 marathon is to always get a picture with Aurora since Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney film.

If there's a specific princess on your list, before standing in the long line of Fantasy Fare see which ones are going to be there.

I assume you mean checking on the app? I just downloaded it and I've been looking through it just to get a sense of what's available. Although, we are going over Spring Break, so I assume it will be a little different then. Is there another way to check to see who is at the Fantasy Faire? How long is the line? Thanks!

Does Snow White usually meet? I don't see her in the app? Is she normally at Ariel Grotto?

I've been checking the app every few days even though I'm not going until April. I haven't seen Aurora yet (even under the name Sleeping Beauty), but I've seen Anna, Ariel, Belle, Elsa, Moana (my daughter is going to FLIP with excitement), Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel and Snow White at various times. So according to the app, she does meet. It looks like she is more hit or miss than the others though. I also haven't seen Elena even though she was promoted on the website.

On a different note, has anyone done the meet and greet with the characters from Cars? I was wondering what to expect. Thanks!

We met Aurora over by the wishing well over Thanksgiving weekend. That said, she is there for a very limited time - if I remember correctly it's for 10 mins 3-4 times in the late morning/early afternoon.

Snow White we've met at Princess Fantasy Fair on our last few trips. I think she's a regular there.

Aurora turns up under "Princess Aurora" on the app, but she's not on it today. Snow White is usually one of the three in Princess Hall.

We've done Cars meets and greets - I think I'm remembering correctly that Lightning and Mater "speak."

Whew! Just checked the app today for the 5 gazillionth time and I saw Princess Aurora pop up. It says she is "roaming in Fantasyland". I clicked on the "find on Map" and it shows a particular location in Fantasyland (near Casey Jr's train). Is that pretty accurate? Or will she be literally roaming? Also, it shows her appearances to be five minutes long. How does that work? Thanks!

Also, any idea how reliable the app is from day to day? Meaning, if I check the app the day before we go into the parks, will I more or less know when and where the characters are? Or is it really determined on a daily basis and you should only rely on the actual day? Thanks again!

It's day-to-day. Especially with face characters.
