Can someone suggest a non-Disney travel location

San Diego, CA

Hollywood, CA - Universal Studios and City Walk are awesome! So much more enegry than Orlando Universal! And there's tons of tours and muesuems.

San Antonio, TX - I heard the Riverwalk is nice.

My girlfriend and I are in our early to mid 20's and have been looking for a non-Disney vacation idea in the upcoming months. We did a big Disney trip last year and don't want to go back this soon. I would like it to be somewhere warm, somewhere with easy access (airport) and with lots to do. I was thinking a cruise but it seems like a pain getting from the airport to the cruise terminal in Florida. I'd also like it to be cheap, but would rather be somewhere relaxing as we are just a little too old to be at a location with kids partying and acting like idiots. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

What time of year are you going?

I know cruises leave from NYC & Boston.....

Aruba & Bermuda are 2 of our favorites as far as islands.

Morocco, France & Italy favorites for for International......Great deals going on right now for Ireland.

I would avoid Bermuda - we found it boring beyond compare, and we are both 50 - so in your 20's - no way.

Love Paradise Island & Exuma in Bahamas.

Aruba is nice, lots of warm beach to relax on.

I love the Keys - you can be as active or sedate as you want.

Northern Cailfornia.

Fly into San Francisco...go north to Napa & Sonoma wine country, south to Carmel & Big Sur, east to Tahoe & Yosemite. And the city itself is fantastic!

If you're looking for inexpensive, with culture, beaches, and lots to do my vote is for Mexico. Explore the ruins (google Chichen Itza, Tulum, etc). Go snorkeling in the second largest coral reef in the world in Cozumel (second only the great barrier in Australia), go to the world famous Coco Bongo in Cancun, bask in the sun and do nothing but drink margaritas and enjoy the ocean, visit the sacred cenotes, listen to marriachis while dining at night. Enjoy :) I suggest staying in an all inclusive in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen or Playa Muerjes
