I finally broke down and replaced my 5 year old computer with a shiny, new laptop, which I love.
I just loaded my Office Basic Edition on to it - the system has Windows XP. Here is my problem: I can access it if I go to the Start Menu and go to Programs. But, I can't create any Shortcuts - if I right click and hit New and then Shortcut and I Browse for the program, I can't find it. I also tried to create a Shortcut to AOL, but all I get is a file with all of the AOL contents in it.
I'm trying to download my resume and coverletter, which I e-mailed to myself from my previous computer, but when I go to download it, I can't find Microsoft Word to save it in!
HELP!!!!
