I don't understand them. When I send an e-mail, I can specifically ask a question
and not get an answer on it. They will talk about other things, but never give me an answer I'm looking for. Why do men do that??? :earseek:

I have girlfriends who do that, too.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING ONLINE????

Sorry-can't help you-still trying to figure out hubby. I have to give him credit for trying his best.

You have girl friends that do that, Jenn? Yikes! Oh...I must always have insomnia. But I really need to finish that last bit of packing. I promise...after this post I'll do it. :)

It's not just me then with this one guy, NC Belle? Glad you're still trying to figure your hubby out. :teeth:

Does he think I ask particular questions for my health? :scratchin

OMG,,,,,I have a friend that does that....I HATE IT....when I personally get an email....I totally make sure I answer each question.....and this particular person ,, never answers

Thank you, Lisa. I see you're like me. I've been known to print someone's e-mail to me and go through it so that I don't miss answering back on something. With him, I've even gotten to the point of sometimes asking my question and following it with...I need an answer on this! Sometimes then I'll get one. But once or twice still didn't! :earseek: I find it soooooooooooo frustrating! :headache:

Hmmm nope! But then I dont understand women.

Maybe this can shed some light on things:

What is a Cat?

Cats do what they want.
They rarely listen to you.
They are totally unpredictable.
When you want to play, they want to be alone.
When you want to be alone, they want to play.
They expect you to cater to their every whim.
They are moody.
They leave hair everywhere.
They drive you nuts and cost you an arm and a leg.

Conclusion: They are tiny women in fur coats.

What is a Dog?

Dogs lie around all day, sprawled on the most comfortable
piece of furniture in the house.
They can hear a package of food opening half a block away,
but they don't hear you when you are in the same room.
They growl when they are not happy.
When you want to play, they want to play.
When you want to be alone, they want to play.
They are great at begging.
They will love you forever if you rub their tummies.
They leave their toys everywhere.
They do disgusting things with their mouths and then try to
give you a kiss.

Conclusion: They are little men in fur coats

I have encountered a few men (including DH) who will try to answer every question in my e-mails to them. I sincerely appreciate it when someone is so thoughtful. As for why men in general don't answer a specifically asked question, there are 4 possibilities I can think of:

1)He forgets that you asked the question by the time he gets to the end of the e-mail.

2)He didn't read your e-mail as closely as you wrote the e-mail.

3)He thinks he's told you the answer but really hasn't. (In other words, he imagined telling you something and he thinks you can read his mind :) - this happens a lot with me and DH and not just with e-mails)

4)He ignores the questions because he doesn't want to answer it and doesn't want to tell you why he doesn't want to answer it.

Oh PW! I feel the same way sometimes. My ex would never answer a ? unless it was es or no. UGH! That was soooooo frustrating.

Survey says: No. 1 answer!!

In my experience, anyway.

"Can someone PLEASE explain MEN to me?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

They're all the same - just have different faces so we can tell them apart......................:teeth:

If we're a SO we typically want 3 things, other than that I can't help you out...:teeth:

Since no-one has answered your question "Can someone PLEASE explain MEN to me?" , I guess I'll give it a try.

The secret to understanding men is Hey did ya'll happen to catch the Kentuckey/UAB basketball game yesterday...that was quite a shocker. That's two of the number one seeds out of the tourney now.

Jerry Seinfeld used to do a bit in his stand-up routine about men and women, and he asked the women if they wanted to REALLY know what men are thinking....the answer......"nuthin"

LOLOL! Recently we had an IM and we were talking about guys in general. That line was a comment of his to me...men rarely listen!! Reading about the cat is definitely how I can relate to him. Sometimes I think...forget it and just drop out of "sight" a few days. Then he comes looking for me! LOL! How frustrating.
