Can someone help me with DCL bus

Ok I am helping my friend plan her DCL honeymoon.

She is taking the 7 day eastern route in Sept and has ressies for 3 days before the cruise at POR. -

She wants to do bus transfers how does this work.

Can she take the DCL bus from WDW or does she have to go back to MCO.

She called DCL and they tell her she can't get bus transfers from them since she booked her cruise with Bestpricecruises - that she has to get the bus transfers from BPC is this true?

So can she take shuttle from MCO to POR then POR to Pier then pier to MCO?

Help me to give her the right info!

Usually, you deal with whomever you book with right up until you get to the terminal. So if she wants to have transfers, she should contact bestpricecruises for that.

As far as the transfers themsleves, we did something similar to her. We stayed at a Downtown Disney hotel the night before our cruise, and left from the POR. Our TA was able to arrange transfers from the POR before, and going back to the POR after for a post-DCL stay.

She would have to take another shuttle service to get from MCO - POR at first, but then Disney could take her from POR-pier and also pier-MCO.

DCL is correct in that if she booked with a TA she needs to make all her transfers through the TA. DCL will not look at a ressie made by a TA, for the most part. The bus transers would be on the Disney buses...they just cannot booked them for her...she has to do that through her TA.

Transfers to WDW from MCO on a DCL bus are only available on certain days (the start of an official 7 day land/sea vacation). You would have to see if she was arriving on a day that the DCL buses were operating from MCO to WDW.

Or, she could just take a private shuttle service or towncar (preferablly) from MCO to WDW before the cruise. The day of the cruise she could take a DCL bus from her resort to the Port and then when the cruise is over she could take a DCL bus from the Port to MCO.

Thank you very much! She finally heard back from her TA - so she will get Transfers from MCO to POR for the three days before the cruise from Disney then get the DCL bus transfers from POR to Pier to MCO from the TA
