Going on a 4 day on the Wonder and was "wondering" about Palo. First, does anyone know where I can see a menu?? Is it a "must do"? How does the champagne brunch compare, do they have it every day and what time?? If you dine in the evening, how long is the dining? What are some of your favorite dishes?? Just wondering, cuz I'm sure we'll have to make reservations as well as Flounder Reef reservations at the same time for our little one. And...if you were to do a dinner, what night would be best on the 4 day? The restuarants on the ship (AP, Triton's, etc.) look really awesome too!

One more ?....about room service...during dining hours can you order food from the dining room/restuarants to be delivered to your room? Just curious. We did this on RCCI once and it was so nice!

Thanks for the info! :)

First of all here's my disclaimer... I've never had dinner in Palo.

That being said I have not felt like I've missed anything - but I understand that the food at dinner is very, very good and one of these days I'm going to get one of those famous souflee's  Actually on the August Repo I have dinner reservations at Palo.

One of the reasons that we've never been there for dinner is because we have enjoyed our table mates and servers and we find the food in the rotational restuarants to be very good.

However, we do NOT MISS brunch at Palo the Magic. It is an awesome spread!!! Our first time we only had 1 1/2 hours because we were meeting the kids at a show and we felt a little rushed (and didn't get to sample everything that we wanted to). Since then we have allocated 2 hours and for us that is enough time!!

I can't post the link here, but I'll be happy to send along a site where you can see the Palo menu. Dinner is served here each evening and I believe you can make reseravations anytime between 5 and 9pm. As to how long it takes, it all depends. We've spent upwards of 3 hours on dinner, but if you have a time constraint, just let your server know and they will move things along for you.

On the 4 night, most guests will make reservations here for the final night. Due to the current rotational dining format, you repeat the same restaurant on night 3 and night 4. Night 3 is Pirate Night and the 3 regular restaurants all have the same special menu. On night 4, you repeat the same restaurant you were in for Pirates Night, but with their standard menu. Palo brunch is only served on the sea day (4th), so if you save your dinner for that night also, you might want to space out the reservations so you have plenty of belly space to enjoy both. The atmosphere is very different during the day and it's nice to see it in both lights. As for the food, I think the pizza is excellent, I've also had the mushroom rissoto, the filet and a number of chefs specialites which have been excellent. Based on experience, the most crowded night is the 4th night.

Unless you are booked in a suite (category 1, 2 or 3) room service dining is limited. You can get items like soup, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, etc. A continental breakfast is also available. If you are in a suite, you will be able to order from any of the dining menus and also get a hot breakfast delivered.
