We're going for a week from 10/30pm -11/6 am. We plan to go to MNSSHP on 10/31 & that will be our park time for the day. SeaWorld will take one day so we have 4 days left. I can't decide if we should get a 4 day hopper or 3 day regular or plus.

Out of our 3 kids, 10, 4, 2, the 4 yr old is the issue. She is extremely high maintenance, prone to tantrums & generally gets overwhelmed easily. Would it be better to buy 4 days so we are less rushed & can do part park days each day? Or is it better to have one full day off from any parks? I can't see us wanting to take off a whole day but with her we need to think about it.
However, that would mean the 3 park days would be really full days most likely. Plus the 1/2 party day. Or we could do a water park on the "off" day, they all love the water but we will have a hotel pool. How much can little kids do at the water park if the weather is ok?

Can someone give me some perspective that might help? Thanks!

We have a four year old that is the same way. I would suggest taking a day off to relax and rest. I know when my 4 year old gets over tired and overwhelmed we tend to have melt downs very easily. If you get the 4 day hopper any unused days can be saved and used on another vacation. If you aren't planning on returning to WDW then I would suggest the 3 day hopper. Just with experience with the same problems in our children just wanted to let you know that a day of relaxation would help out alot. Take your time and rest when needed and have a great time. :D

I would suggest a 4 day hopper, with no plus option. When we have had a full day off from the parks because we had a hopper with one less day than we were there.,we tended to be flustrated that we could not be in the park that day. There is lots to do outside the parks, but I think you will want 4 days in them. Take breaks in the afternoon of your DD needs them and don't stay late if the kids are tired. Many kids do better first thing in the morning and this way your have 4 mornings to work with. Good luck.

You do know that MNSSHP will be extremly crowded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suggest a 4 day pass and only going to the party on the 31st... as you do not need to use a pass to get in as it a special event and requires a seperate ticket.. So take that day off and rest and get to the MK at 5pm and do the rides early as it does fill up fast..

I was there oct 14th last year and it was not that bad, but I had a freind go on the 31st and it was awful!

get at least as many days as you will be there at Disney. If you dont use a day it wont expire and you can use it next time.

Get a stroller, the strollers are fairly large and will save lots of waiting for the shorter legs.

Thanks for your replies! Since sources for 3 days seem to be rare, I've convinced DH we should just get 4 day PH. Glad they don't expire, that helped convince him plus I found out he's already thought we'll go back in a few years too. :bounce:

I hope the party's not too bad as far as crowding. It will be the kids' first sight of Disney and want them to enjoy it. Fingers crossed the awe of being there will offset any frustration from crowds/lines.
