can someone get married at the boardwalk without a package through disney?

The quick answer is no. If you want to get married on Disney property you have to through DFTW. No exceptions....

sorry maybe I said it wrong. What would be the cheapest package that they have or is there a website where all the packages are listed??

Cheapest package would be "Escape" and that starts at $4500.

Cheapest is Escape, unless you have a member of your family that is military, then you can work with shades of green.

The cheapest (as everyone said) is the Escape wedding, and for April 2010 it would be $4750 for just the basic elements.

www.disneyweddings.com has all the information!

(I'm an Escape bride, and I've kept it pretty much at $4750.)

Okay, all that said, I'm pretty sure I saw an "illegal" wedding at SBP last time I was there. . . Perhaps the right thing to do would have been to report it, but I just smiled and kept walking. It's not what I would want, nor do I think it's worth the risk, but it is done.

You actually CAN get married in the Boardwalk area without going through Disney & it's very legal.

The Swan & the Dolphin resort, located right on the Boardwalk, offers gorgeous outdoor wedding packages for half the price of Disney weddings.:)

I'm sure you can! If you did it before 10am or after 7:30pm you shouldn't have a problem. And you know how Disney is they wouldn't want to cause a scene. I don't think they have security patrolling that area. Good Luck! :cool1:

You can look into getting married at the Swan/Dolphin. It's cheaper than doing it through DFTW and it's the only "legal" alternative.
