VMK is a virtual representation of the Disney's Magic Kingdom parks in Florida, Anaheim, and France. Players play [boring and overplayed] minigames (

) to earn "credits" which go towards buying items for rooms, buying pins for your character's "lanyard," and riding dark-rides in Fantasyland.
Use of VMK mainly consists of chat and minigames. A set vocabulary restrains players from giving out personal information, cursing, or having an educated conversation (

).
The "hours" of the kingdom are from 10 o'clock AM to 1 o'clock AM EST to ensure that there are always staff members there to moderate chat.
There are three classifications of "Staff." The first moderates chat and keeps peace within the game. They are identified by the VMK_ next to their name. The next type not only moderates chat, but hosts games for the players during a set window of time in their guest rooms. They are distinguished by the HOST_ in front of their name. The final type of staff does not moderate chat or provide games, but instead tests out future items. They are identified by the QA_ in front of their name. QA is "Quality Assurance."
"Quests" were previously do-able at DLR and is still do-able at WDW. They were scavenger hunts that gave out in-game rewards. The "questing" at WDW will cease September 30th. VMK will remain open.
There are also external VMK games. These no longer give out prizes and are hardly worth mentioning.
Have fun!
