Can someone explain the Recreation program??

I believe that is what it is called.

I just changed my ressie for one week to VWL (my DH's favorite!) and recall that you can rent bikes, boats etc. for the length of stay for a set price (199) I believe. Does it also work at OKW? We will be a VWL then to VB then home to OKW!!

Can anyone elaborate on this? What does it include?

You've got it down correctly. We've used the WLV plans the last few years even though we were staying at BWV's & OKW!! WLV has a better location for biking/boating....

Anyways, you and your party of 4 adults (forget the age they consider old enough) can get unlimited boating and biking opportunities during your length of stay. You can have any passengers you like (don't exceed occupancy on the boats though!)

WL is an excellent resort for using this plan!!!

What if there are only two adults? Can you still do this? We spend a fortune on the water mice!

Definitely, you can have up to 4 adults (so 2 is fine) on the contract at one time (you can also switch names around during your trip), We only have one adult that drives & we still do the plan because we use the pontoon boats for the whole family & DH takes DS out in the water sprite...

What if you stay somewhere else other than WLV, can you still get it. I am spending 5 days at BCV, then 3 days at WLV. Is my LOS 8 days, or is it broken up into 2 stays.

It is 199.00 no matter how many people you have or how long your LOS is.... You can get more info by calling the WL & asking for the Marina...

You do not need to be staying at VWL to purchase the plan, as I said, we've done it while at OKW & BWV's... I do not know if your LOS plan continues once you move resorts... I'll be able to answer that in November, we're staying 9 nights at BW & 2 at WL, so we'll find out then...

dizfanz...I had that same thought. We will be splitting our stay (VWL, VB, OKW) It would be GREAT if I could get it for the entire stay!!!!!!! But, my gut is saying........NO!

If you find out, let me know....or if I find out I'll pass on the info.

rbuzzotta, please be sure to post when you get back & report your experience on switching resorts, I suspect the answer is no as well, but ya never know!

Think a previous thread said you cannot switch resorts with the plan. It is for the length of stay at that resort.
Anyone remember for sure?

I thought they capped the recreation LOS at 7 consecutive days, after that you had to purchase a new one. Just what I remember seeing.

OK, just spent some time cruising through the dis archived messages & found the following threads!! Look for posts by Lizziesmom & Ohio Minnie & Ohio Mickey, all three used the plan... Ohio Mickey reported the plan could be used for any length of stay... They were there for 12...
