Can someone explain the Epcot Passport books?

I've seen a few threads and tons of pics on the passport books and was wondering if someone could please explain to what exactly it is? And what are the stamps i see everyone talking about?

I have not done one, but from what I understand at each country in Epcot you can find a CM (Cast Member) that is actually from that country and they will stamp your passport and write you a short note in their language. Hope that helps!

We just got back from our trip, and we did the passport for the first time. My seven year old loved it! It really helped to keep her engaged and want to see all of the countries. It makes a great souvenir too.
