Can someone explain the details of Maxpass to me?

We are seasoned DL visitors, and have a pretty good handle on FPs. We are going for either 1 or 2 days the weekend before Thanksgiving, but I don't really understand the ins and outs of Maxpass.

If there are 4 of us, do we need to have it on 4 different phones? What if I want to send my kids to use a FP (they are teens), but they are all on my phone? I'm not sure I understand how it works.

For those that have used it, is it worth it? Are regular FPs running out sooner than usual? Thanks!

You need to purchase MP for each ticket, but you don't need to run the app off four phones. You can link all the tickets to one account and manage it from one phone. If you want to send the kids to use a FP, you can either give them their tickets, or a photocopy of their tickets, or have them use the app (I've heard you can sign in on multiple devices so they won't even need their own account). They just need to scan the barcode and it's the same barcode whether they scan the physical ticket or the app.

You can coordinate it all on one phone, or multiple phones. I connected 5 tickets to my account a few weeks ago and booked all the FPs for everyone. Each time, you select the "FP party," so I was able to do one FP for all 5 of us or sometimes do 3 FP for one attraction and then 2 for another, for instance. It's very intuitive once you're doing it.

Each FP is connected to a park ticket, so your kids can scan their tickets, which will have FPs that you booked on your phone. They don't need your phone at all.

I think it's definitely worth it if you're there on a busy day, park-hopping, and going to be there by rope drop.

I Read somewhere a cm
Told a family they couldn't not use copied tickets. But it may be a good idea to take a pic of it in case it gets lost.
