I want to stack my redcard 5% discount with this target pharmacy 5% coupon I been hearing about. Can anyone explain? Thanx

You need to have 5 prescriptions filled at a Target pharmacy to receive it after you sign up for their pharmacy rewards program.

It is not available in all states (NJ is one)

I believe that Ar and NY also prohibit any types of pharmacy reward. And federal employee insurance programs, Medicare and Medicaid are also excluded.

Once you've earned a pharmacy reward does it print from the register or do wait to receive something via mail/email?

The pharmacy coupon was always mailed to me, back when I lived in a state that allowed the program.

When we reach 5 prescriptions the pharmacy can usually print something at the register for us. The last time the "system" was down, so we just called customer service and let them know and they made sure something was sent in the mail.

One thing to remember, you're not technically stacking for a total savings of 10%. You first get 5% off the total bill, then get another 5% off the newly discounted price.

A $100 check out using red card and pharmacy rewards would be 5% off $100, then they would take 5% off $95. Just something to keep in mind....

Correct. When you stack them, you get a total discount of 9.75%, which is nothing to shake a stick at when you consider that you can take that off of the best deal that Disney can offer:goodvibes.

They send the coupon in the mail. It normally takes 7-10 days. We get one every month since our household has 5 refills every month.

I live in NY. I wonder if it's prohibited. Plus my target only has the $50 gcs. I wish I could buy a large amount to get 9.75% off.

  1. Target Pharmacy Rewards are prohibited in NY.
  2. Target stores do not carry Disney GCs in denominations bigger than $50.
  3. Buying in large quantities from Target does not get you a bigger %-off your purchase.
