Hi Everyone,

I'm considering getting an Annual Pass for 2007, can someone explain how it works? Is it worth it?

For me when would the best time be to buy it? I am going to Disney in January for the Marathon and then returning in Oct/Nov.

TIA,

Jodi

Buying an AP is easy. Don't worry about buying one ahead of time, just do it at one of the parks the first day you get there.

Is it worth it? You didn't say how many days you are going to be there so I can't answer that question. But if you look at http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticket.htm
you'll find a pretty good explanation of how they work and how to calculate the break-even between daily passes and an AP.

I bought an annual pass for our trip this past Jan. I am also taking my dd for a few days in May. We stayed and are staying at the Poly. After the extra cost of the AP I saved over $700 on our rooms for the 2 trips so it was well worth it! :)

When you buy online they send a voucher that you will exchange at the park the day you arrive. The year doesn't start until you make that exchange. I have heard that Disney ups the prices after the first of the year so if you buy before Jan 1 you can get it for a cheaper rate yet your year won't start until you make the voucher exchange. I bought mine in October 2005 yet my year didn't start until Jan. 15, 2006 but I paid the cheaper 2005 fare.
