Can Someone Explain How Ebates Works?

Do I get the ebate as a check that I can cash, or a store credit, or an immediate discount on the item I'm buying? Why does it ask me to choose a card before I sign up? Is that how the ebate is credited?

Ebates pays out the rebates quarterly though you do have to have at least $5 in your account before they'll pay out. If you have less that $5 then they'll carry your balance forward into the next quarter. Ebates pays by check or paypal (no paypal fees for the payment).

The rebate will show up in your account after your order ships.

I don't believe you actually have to choose a card before signing up. At least I didn't back when I signed up last year.

I think its asking you to choose a card as a bonus for signing up (I have been a member for around 5 years )

You account is usually credited within a few days of your purchase. As long as you have 5.01 or more in your account they sen you your payment every three months. I believe feb, may, aug and nov.

I get mine sent by paypal.

I also get mine in my Paypal account- you can always transfer any funds from Paypal into your bank account with no fee. I have gotten back over $700 in the last three years from Ebates and just got $55 for this quarter. The only online merchant I use alot that doesn't participate is Amazon, but even Ebay is on there!---Kathy
