Okay I'm not sure what this is. From my understanding you go through WS and drink and eat. However, do you pay each and every time? Or is this a ticketed event and you get a wristband and are allowed to then order whatever you want as you go from country to country and the wristband makes it all included? If you pay for each thing as you go is there special pricing or something? Is this in the restaurants or do they have special areas you go to in each country?

I'm a visual person, so here's a short video
Basically it's included with your park ticket, there are food booths all around Epcot (not inside the restaurants, it's all outdoors)you pay for each item, each booth has your menu and prices, there are some badges that will include a certain number of foods, but most people just stroll around, look at the menus and pick what they want and pay at each booth

It's food. And wine. What more do you need to know :-)

Seriously though there are 30+ kiosks set up all around the world showcase (and some in future world). There is one for each of the world showcase countries, as well as other countries and some "specialty" booths that focus on food groupings things like bbq, seafood or cheese. Admission comes with your entrance to Epcot and each booth has individualized pricing for their items, which include both savory and sweet items as well as the aforementioned wine, beer, and some cocktails. There is no special pricing and it can get pricey, but its a ton of fun and never disappoints.

We didn't get there this year but did in 2017. Here are some of our adventures

Go to the EPCOT wine and food page. Or watch one of many YouTube videos about it. It’s a lot of fun if you enjoy food and wine.

Its a festival at Epcot which runs from around the end of August to mid November.

Its not a special ticketed event.

You don't get wristbands.

There are food kiosks set up around Epcot with various foods and drinks in sample siezes that you wait in line and pay for.

Its a great way to try foods that you wouldn't ordinarily order without knowing that you would likely enjoy as well as foods from Epcot restaurants such as Le Cellier to see if you'd want to then eat at that restaurant.

Here's a link to Disney's website about it.

It’s a lot of fun but gets expensive quickly. Great use of dining plan snack credits though. There are around 30 booths that all have multiple small dishes and drinks from $2-10 each, most around $6-8. I like to read the menus in advance so i know which booths I really want to try and which ones I’ll skip. Weekends and evenings are crowded.

Oh wow, I need to go back next year. That food in the video looks absolutely delicious. I usually plan on a trip around World Showcase to take the place of a table service meal (from a budget and stomach perspective). Except it's more like snacking and drinking at a leisurely pace for 3 hours, with stops for attractions and store browsing. The portion sizes might seem small at first, but you definitely can fill up! This is a good chance to be a little adventurous and sampling some new flavors.

The kiosks are fun. We really enjoy the separate food and wine lunch pairings. We have done the Mediterranean, Italian twice, the one at Mexico and France once. They really are a bargain for what you get and learn.

We go a couple of times ( AP holders)... The booths are set up around the world showcase... 30 of them this year. DH and I share most items, so that we can try more offerings at all the different spots. There is wine and beer at most booths, and some liquor options to try as you go around...

We went several times this year, and it seemed much easier to get food and drinks... and I did notice not as many overly intoxicated guest as in the years past... and security walking around on the weekends which I can't remember seeing in the past. We really enjoyed it this year...

It can add up quickly... You pay for each item, ranging from around 3 to 10 dollars..
