Can someone explain EMH hours to me?

So i hope that someone can explain these to me. I understand the basics. If you are staying on site you can take advantage of the extra magic hours (either morning or night) but when i check the hours on the disney site it shows emh hours on a few days that we are there for the different parks but how can i find out what the hours are? are emh am for animal kingdom always 7-5? anyone know where i can find out what the emh are?>

From what I understand:

am EMH - the park opens an hour earlier
pm EMH - the park stays open 3 hours later

Yes - the posted hours are the regular hours. You add EMH hours to those - so if MK is open until 11:00pm, the EMH hours are until 2:00am, for example.

The calender is on WDW site. They lst all the hours for the parks as well as EMH and fireworks etc.

EMH is either it opens up early or stays open later. Refer to the calendar to see what's happening on each day.

You don't know the eveing ones until you get there that night. The moring one if it opens at 9 it will open at 8.

I was told that is not always the case sometimes 1hr sometimes 2hrs but most times it's 3 hrs.

They say a park stays open *up to 3 hours* later, but I don't think you'll find a single evening EMH that was not 3 hours up to now.
