Can someone describe the Enchanted Garden "transformation" to me ?

In reading the Dream trip reports, it seems people have lots to say about the Animator's Palate experience.

What I haven't really read much about, however, is the transformation that is supposed to transition from day into night in the Enchanted Garden. Is it just really subtle? Or not really noteworthy compared to the other venues? Just wondering why there is hardly any mention of it.

I barely noticed a change in Enchanted Garden. The faux windows changed from light to twilight, but if you aren't paying attention (or are seated so that you can't really observe it) you might not notice a whole lot. I was not seated facing the central "atrium" so didn't notice the lighting changes there, but I think that area did change lighting too. We did remark, "oh, the lighting changed" at one point, but it was not a dramatic thing.

My servers were wearing pink shirts. That's what I noticed, for some reason! The pink shirts.

From what I read I thought it would go from day to night during your meal. It does not. The atmosphere of the garden theme reflects the time of day. Morning, noon or night. I guess the flower lamps on the ceiling sort of slowly open like a flower. This was the restaurant I was most looking forward to seeing but I was underwhelmed. I am sure primarily because our seat assignment was way back in a corner near the kitchen entrance actually. Our tablemates all agreed that in the weird little corner we were in we saw no effects. My seat faced the wall actually!

So the food was good and I imagine it's pretty at certain seats but we didn't get much!

I'm probably just unobservant but I didn't notice anything.

Well, these comments probably explain why I hadn't read much about it.There just isn't really much worth writing about.

That's a shame. Way back when they first started releasing details about the restaurants as they were under construction, I thought this sounded like it would be a wonderful effect.

Very subtle change....but I do recall going to dinner and seeing it change from day to night so it does change during dinner...but it is very subtle.

I think the change from day to night is only obvious if you are facing the wall that you see as you walk into the restaurant. Our servers did point that out to us, but it was so far away from where we actually sat, I don't really remember looking at it much. Plus my seat was also facing another wall in a corner. Our server also pointed out at our last breakfast that the flowers (lights and decorations at the side of the wall) are closed during the day, whereas I did notice them being open during dinner.

So subtle that I totally missed it on our first Dream cruise. Did notice it on the second one, but it's more like the lighting changes in Triton's than any sort of a major "Wow!" transition.
