Can someone convince me to go to Flying Fish?

We have an ADR there in October (never been there before). I am not a seafood eater, though DH is. The chicken dish on allears sounds really good, so I know I can find something I will like... but do you think this meal is worth the expense? Or would you scrap it and go with something different?

ETA: Should have mentioned, we have DDE.

I consider one of the top 3 restaurants that I've been to in WDW. If you don't like seafood, I've heard that the steak is supposed to be excellent! :thumbsup2

My DH is just like you- I wanted to try the FF but ended up making ressies at the California Grill because my DH said the FF was too pricey for him to eat chicken. He did not want a steak there either. Maybe I'll get to try it some day.

If I remember correctly, the caesar salad is excellent. I love their swordfish, but I doubt you care about that. Easily one of the best places on property.

FF is my fave but if you're not going for seafood or the Steak I think your buck would be better spent elsewhere.

We love FF and I do love the seafood there HOWEVER I have had some of their ravioli dishes some of times we've been there since we already had a PS/ADR and I wasn't in a "seafood" mood that night. :teeth: And, the ravioli has been very good, my favorite was when they had the butternut squash with a light butter type sauce, it was yummy!! And, there weren't other places you could get it either.

I believe they have another type of ravioli now but I'm sure it is excellent. It's a "gourmet" dish, not your typical cheese ravioli with tomato sauce so it's not something you can get elsewhere.

Their menu is half seafood and half other "fare". I'm sure the other "fare" is in the same caliber as their seafood. ;) I'd say, go for it. The new Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Breast looks good. :thumbsup2

jwfla, my wife had the ravioli awhile back but it was a seafood ravioli as I recall. I guess they must have a few variations that I haven't noticed?

My wife liked the ravioli, btw.
